The foundation Casa dello Spirito e delle Arti supports various social projects including "Metamorfosi" project. In this project, musical instruments are made from the wood of refugee boats that arrive in Lampedusa. The instruments are built by inmates of the Opera prison in Milan and lent to various orchestras. The instruments thus become a memorial to the fate of refugees on stages around the world and a symbol of hope for change.
For over 50 years, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has been providing medical aid where human lives are at risk. MSF is always politically, religiously and militarily impartial and is active in more than 70 countries in various areas, for example in conflict zones, in climate crises, for mother-child health, for the logistics of pharmaceutical aid.
